Rafting up - Looks like the BVIs, no??
One of my motives for creating this site was to create a social network of owners\sailors of the pocket cruisers on Lake Harriet. Why? See the picture above! On Labor Day weekend, we had three 22+ foot boats rafted up for over an hour, as we drifted slowly across the lake. A GREAT time was had by all. I cannot wait until we can do this again. I've sailed daysailors before, and they are great, but the real advantage of our pocket cruisers is their ability to be a platform for socializing. It's a big part of sailing, and makes the overall sailing experience much more fun. Don't be afraid to ask if we want to heave to and share some good times! From a practical perspective, you can either drift with the wind, or have one of the boats drop and anchor in the shallows on the lee side of the lake.
