Almost time to sign up for a mooring buoy!

Well the lake is still ice-covered, but is is almost February, and that means getting your buoy application in! The City of Minneapolis starts taking applications on Feb 1st, and if you are NOT a current buoy holder or are NOT a Minneapolis resident, it is key to get your application in ASAP. They use the arrival date of the application to place you in the queue. If you are a buoy holder and a Minneapolis resident, the need is not so great, as you go in the first drawing pool anyway. Because that pool (for location) is randomly picked, there is no need to rush. Just don't forget! The last day they can be submitted is April 8th. The Draw will be on April 13th. The link to the page to download the application form is HERE. Pricing is the same as last year. The MPRB says the form will be available on Feb 1st. The days are starting to get longer, and I'm jazzed to be getting back on the water!
